I've watched every program you ever made and then over again on repeats
I love the variety you buy and the places you visit especially the European trips they have been such a joy to watch and I know I'm going to love this too.
You're missed on TV but so looking forward to this new blog its a great read so far keep doing what your doing Drew
And well done on your new found fitness you are looking great
I lost my husband in 2016 and I couldn't do anything except watch TV for the first three months. I never watched TV and haven't much since but Salvage Hunters was the first thing I saw and then the only thing I watched. It proved to me that despite my old life being gone that I still had passions and interests, (antiques and history being major ones). So it was cathartic and funny and helpful!
I also have watched every episode of Salvage Hunters, all variations of it, numerous times and just have to say it was the best show on tv and one that piqued my interest to give it a go. I miss the show with you terribly and I know I’m not the only one. It was super informative, funny and entertaining and not to be missed. Good to read you are looking after yourself now, life can be challenging can’t it, and a lot harder being in the public eye I would imagine. I hope one day you will consider coming back to the ‘screen’ even if it’s only a monthly show, you are missed by your fan and support base
Honestly Drew, it's lovely to think you could share some of these elements that are so deeply personal and, quite frankly, none of our business. I know it must always be a constant battle when you were in the public eye and are loved by so many. But thank you for trusting us with this, such vulnerable and inspiring post. Wishing you all the best in bath and your future. Keepmit up mate.
I've seen all your programmes and still watch them every morning on repeat. I love them and have learnt a lot. I hope sometime you will do an update on the renovation of the house. May you and the business keep going from strength to strength and I look forward to reading more on the website.
Buon proseguimento Drew
I've always loved antiques, but ever since I stumbled upon your show, you've taught me to love this world even more. I met you in Madrid at an antiques fair (I’m writing to you from Spain), and for me, meeting you and having you share your knowledge with me was worth its weight in gold. I don’t work in the field, but every time I visit a fair, store, or museum, I’m happy and try to remember everything you teach on your show. Every morning before going to work, I have breakfast while watching your show over and over again, and even though I don’t like my job, waking up to the routine of having breakfast while watching *Maestros de la Restauración* makes my day better.
I congratulate you on all the changes you’ve made, and I sincerely hope you continue to share all your knowledge with the same passion as always with those of us who admire your work.
Looking forward to hearing your stories here, Drew. As a fellow Welshman it was you inspired me towards the antique ( and vintage) trade albeit on a very part-time basis. I was in hospital for close to two years battling two forms of leukaemia and your show was on loop via hospital TV!
I bizarrely bumped into Tee last year in south wales and gave him this story too!
A world I didn’t realise existed and is captivating. Hope all is well.
Drew you are living proof of the Joseph Campbell quote "the privilege of a lifetime is to embody who you are". I find your approach to relationships and your career choice very inspiring. Thanks for sharing.
Delighted to read this - you're looking so well AND in a good place physically and mentally. I've learnt so much from you over the years and looking forward to learning more!
